I have a good friend who is a flight attendant. It is hard for her to be gone for days at a time. SHe is gone 3, home 4.
It is pretty rough on her kids and husband. But, if you are young w/o kids it may be great for you.
The cruise ships rarely hire Americans, we want more pay then others and do not go for the living standards.

It really depends on the person. If your sociable well this is a great job! If your not well try your best and see how it ends up. You will enjoy seeing new places also, but be prepared for a challenge! ect: people barfing, crazy questions! Just don't loose self control and go for your goal.

I think for most people if they do the same thing every day, no matter how exciting that thing is, it eventually becomes boring.
