Is there a site I can go to and submit my idea to see if it is available to patent? Does anyone know anything about patenting an idea, and if it would be worth looking into a "patent company"? I understand they help you patent your idea, (taking their cut of course), but when I don't have the money to foot all the expenses, I would rather pay to have it patented than not able to do it at all.

I have just been given a Christmas present of 10 shares of my company's stock from my employer. The only catch is, I have to buy them myself and I will be reimbursed. I would really like to make this investment but I have never bought stock before. What would be the best way to go about buying these 10 shares? When I looked at some trading websites, they say that I must fund an account with at least $2000. I don't have that kind of money. I just want to buy 10 shares of one stock and that's it. Please help.

I received quite a few target gift cards and wondered if I could use them to pay on my credit card? I looked on their site but you can only pay by a bank account.

TIA! :)

I continually read emails, and articles on websites about "Mystery Shoppers" where you get paid to shop, and give feedback on the store, and you get to keep your purchases as well. Has anyone else heard of this, and is this a big scam.....??!?

I am 19 years old, and a freshman in college. I plan on getting a job sometime soon this next semester, possibly at CVS as a Cashier. Money is tight around here, considering my single mother is supporting me through college. I want to put money in my checkings account. But I also want to save a few thousand to help pay for tuition and such. Are there any suggestions? How should I split up my money? Get piggy banks (i might spend it) or put it all in my checking account? Any better jobs that I can work full time, and have flexible hours? I need all the advice I can get!

You've all seen these shows where people flip houses and make thousands of dollars. How do they get financed for these?

I see some people get 90 day loans. What kind of loans are those, who can get them, and can you borrow enough to the purchase price and renovations?

I also see some get construction loans. Are these different than what I listed above?

Also, when I bought my house I had to wait 30 days to close the loan. How can they buy a house, sell it in two weeks, and never close?

I am considering a career in either medical technology or radiography. I would get a bachelor degree for either career track but I'm not sure which one to pick. I worked in a pathology lab before and enjoyed it but I have also observed radiographers and I think I would enjoy that as well. Any suggestions?

I heard that employers are less likely to hire you or will not hire you if your "overweight" due to insurance reasons. My mom works for a company and she says they will not hire a overweight person,no matter how much experience they have. That is just WRONG.For employers........does this really happen??

The renumeration package at work seems to be decreasing year on year. I have been there 5 years and each year the company has been making more and more money and expecting more and more from it's work force. At the same time there has never been a salary rise and any bonuses and gratuities that were received have been fazed out. I have had to take on extra responsibilities to maintain my standard of living and take on extra hours. I was at the end of year meeting the day after the top managers had a christmas party (no invite here and nothing for the normal workers) where it was announced that the company had made twice the profits it had at this point last year, in the same sentence we were told that the company would not even be repeating last years £20 christmas bonus. I was gobsmacked and as a result i am considering proposing that a trade union be appointed using the process granted under the Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act. What do you think?

So, initially I had signed up for a credit card to get a free tshirt. Well, now I am thinking about it. I am 19 years old, and I would like to slowly begin building up my credit. I do not want to go out of control with this credit card. What are some suggestions for when I should use my credit card, in order to gradually build credit, and still not have to just pay the minimum cost of my bill?!?!

I am 16 and need a better way to keep track of what I spend moneywise (and my parents are willing to back me up). I have thought of maybe a credit card, debit card, or checkbook. I am using cash right now and I do not really spend that much because I like to have a certain amount of money with me for a sense of security. I would like to know a better and easier way to keep track of what I spend and the pros and cons of each way.

Someone please help!

I tried corporate America again, and it was a mistake. A friend offered me a job at a growing company, and it turned out to be chaos. I've been there for 2 months, and there are many there that show obvious irritation with my slow learning. I've decided to quit, but haven't completely decided whether to stay for a couple of more days or what. I've found another job & I need the 4 days off more than I need the 4 days pay.
