I'm stuck with a horrible debt and creditors demanding immeadiate payment... so if you were someone that has no way to magically make money appear in a few days and a business that is a little stagnant at the moment.. can you get a credit card/ debt loan anything to give you some more time till you fix things and come up with the money eventually??

I have been an owner of my condo for 10 years now in Los Angeles. I tend to go out of town for work for 6 months at a time and have sucessfully rented out my place for those short periods. Now, a couple of the other owners want to pass a rule about setting a minimum of 1year leases for those who are renting. To me this sounds absurd to say that someone can dictate how long you can or cannot rent your own place for. We are not a co-op and do not live in a co-op state so I am wondering if what they are proposing is even legal? I am afraid that this would set a bad precedent within the bldg. and limit potential buyers if they knew that there was such a restriction. Anyone have any thoughts or knowledge of this kind of rule or restriction on condos???

I would like serious answers to this please! I am in the process of applying to do a degree and am torn between two subjects. I am 32 and have been working in IT.I have narrowed it down to Psychology or Veterinary Nursing. I know Psychology is better paid but my motivations are really spurred on by caring and making a difference. The problem is I see both these careers as caring so what criteria should I make a decision on? I considered human nursing but I am worried I would not cope well with it. I could do psychology as I have my own experiences in this area....and as for the veterinary nursing I have looked after animals for years and am really interested in their wellbeing.

Any opinions from people working in either of these industries or perhaps some advice as to how I could decide. I want to make a difference to people fundamentally but I guess that would also be the case if I was treating their animals. Help!!! Thanks a lot. Cheers!

Land is undeveloped, approx 12 miles from town, I've thought about a motorcycle resort, but looking for a more year rounded venture. Money is a factor. We have access to most toys (heavy equipment) and willing to put our labor in. Remember, there are four seasons there. Whatcha think?

If you showed them the pronunciation of your name and they got it. Then after an hour they read it like an English word, how to deal with it?

Maybe I should tell them to call me my nick name?

Thanks!

Have you ever ask yourself, why do I have to give a two weeks notice to my boss when I am leaving a position but when the company that I am working for will not do the same for me. If they decided to lay me off, they just show me the door. So do you think you’re just falling for big corporations’ brainwash on being ethical when they themselves will not do the same for you?

I have had the most difficult time trying to find an answer to this question. Does anyone know how much interest a bill collector can add to charged off account they receive?

I received one answer, and was told they can add interest if it is "authorized and agreed to in the original contract". Ok, what does this mean? Does it mean, if the original creditor was charging me 12% interest on a $4000 loan charged off in 2000, a bill collector can buy the debt in 2007, and charge me 12% interest for the entire 7 years?

Can someone provide a legal answer, and an example of how this would be broken down? A collector is currently charging me interest EACH MONTH on a charged off account they recently received. I don't see anything in my contract saying bill collectors can charge interest. The only thing mentioned is the interest rate I had with the original creditor on my loan. Thanks.
