Are you the employee?
If you are the employee, you are entitled to have the workers comp carrier pay all the medical bills. You are entitled to lost pay, ONLY IF you miss MORE than five days of work, on a doctor's order, due to the injury. If you miss more than five days of work, the lost wages is retroactive to the first missed day.
Second degree burns usually don't result in that much missed time, so my guess is you're only going to get the doctor's bill paid.

Yes; you are entitled to PA Statutory Benefits. Contact the PA Dept of Labor or PA State Commissioner immediately if you are not getting a response from your agent or insurance company. It is likely in the State of PA that you are not insured through a traditional insurance company but a Self Insurance Fund. (start with the 2nd phone number listed below). I would also contact the Department of Insurance right away and find out the "exact" steps you need to take to reach resolution quickly and ask if it is time to retain your own attorney or if they can help in getting this resolved. If it is resolved before you get an attny involved chances are you will see a much better outcome...
For questions concerning claims, benefits, safety groups or self-insurance write to:
Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry
Bureau of Workers’ Compensation, Room 103
1171 South Cameron Street
Harrisburg, PA 17104-2501
Or call:

The first thing you'll want to do is see your doctor. You need to have your arm be as good as it was BEFORE the accident. Getting your arm back as good as new will tell you the extent of your inhury, your pain and suffering. It is not what you say, but rather what your doctor says that will determine what you are entitled to. If you don't already have a doctor in mind, see a specialist, one who specializes in burns.
Take care!

i could say no, comp time, if given, is a luxury for salaried workers. i could trust others - you're able to envision specifics on your state. As for creating so lots greater greenbacks than hourly? somewhat? I choose.

Contact you local Worker Comp Board. This is a state agency.
You might also contact your state's dept of Labor & Industry. Sometimes they can get involved - for free - if you ask for their help.

they should pay for all your medical bills, and probably lossed wages. PLEASE don't contact a lawyer unless they don't pay your bills as they should. But please don't sue the restaurant for some ungodly amount of money......that's the reason our insurance and taxes are so high!!! lol I hope your arm gets better soon, they say 2nd degree burns are the most painful, i hope they're giving you some good pain drugs! LOL
