what does the seller mean by the handling charge? is that for covering ebay and paypal fees? i want to do local pickup with a seller and waive the feem, but he says he needs to charge half the s/h to cover the high ebay/paypal fees. is he right in doing this, or are the ebay fees separate from his fees in the auction? thanks for any helps

My friend (a widowed mother of six young kids) was just told by her landlord ,that she had to pay late fees that have acumulated to over $1000. her checks have always came after the first and he has never complained or asked her to pay the late fee. there is a late fee callled for in the rental agreement. Can he let them acumulate and then demand them? He did this right before Christmas!

I know eBay auction BUYERS can sometime pay by money orders or personal checks, and auction SELLERS can also accept payments through PayPal. What other options are available for those of us who no longer want to use PayPal? Everytime I write to eBay with a similar question, they tell me to use the PayPal service ((which eBay OWNS)). Also, does anyone know how a simple SELLER on any auction site can accept CREDIT CARD payments if they don't own a business? Thank You!!!

Dear Friends,

I was born and raised in London, however recently I have been contemplating a life in India. I am endeavouring to explore investment / Business opportunities in India. Principally ventures like office real estate in places like Goa and Bangalore as well as leisure and Tourism.

I would be very grateful if anybody can give me relevant advice on where and how to start out.

I need to know more about hindu legislation and how it pertains to such projects as well as any useful website people have?

Thanx.

Hello people,

Recently I have been busy applying for graduate applications for finance (and other) companies. However the formal requirements for graduate programmes is a 2(1) or a 1st.

I have recently completed my Masters, for which I was predicted a distinction, however I will not ascertain my result untill March 2007.

Does anybody have any career advice for a 2(2) graduate???

I know, I know. Apply for a credit card. I did that. And they rejected me, on the basis of....uh, I have no credit. So...what am I supposed to do? I know I have no credit...and to build it I need to pay bills on time, pay credit cards early, etc. But if no one will give me a credit card because I don't have any credit, or no one will give me a loan because I have no credit, and no one will let me be on my own cell phone account because I have no credit, how am I supposed to BUILD IT?
