You will have to wait until Jan 15th, and then go to

www.irs.gov

and follow the links for free e-file. You have to fall into the income guidelines, but they are pretty high. Make sure that you use one of the sites that asks many questions, and answer them all honestly, and you will have your taxes done almost instantaneously. also, if you have a bank account, you can have your refund deposited there and have it back in a week or two.

I didn't know that a tax had anything called a "free," but if you want to file your taxes for free, then you may do so with the IRS. Don't get sucked in by these tax prep companies that charge a fee. It's a total scam, you can get everything that you need to do it yourself at www.irs.gov.

If your income is below about $40,000, you can have your tax return done at no charge at a VITA site - see irs.gov for more information. There's probably a site near where you live, and most sites will e-file your return.

you can go on completetax.com and it is free as long as you make under $34,000 a year combined income with your spouse.(that is if you have one, if not then just you)

and also it is easy....a monkey can follow their directions all you do is fill in the blanks and it calculates it for you....you just need to know your adjusted gross income for last year...you can get that info by calling the irs.
