I work in California, and my Employer just told us today 12-13-06 that on 12-26- 12-27 and 12-28 we are basiclly forced to take those days off..and they said to get paid we need to use our vacation time...is this right? i mean i can't afford this i mean if i had more notice maybe but with christmas and rent and stuff i just can't do it...but i don't want to use my vacation time, i will if i have to ...is there a law about this somwhere??? thanks for your help!!

I have a score in the high 500's. I have just paid off all my credit cards, bought a house, and also pay on an auto loan. In the past I have been late a few times, hence the lowered score. So, if I now make all payments on time, how long should it take me to get my credit score back up?

...today my base rate is $1,750.00 and I still get the 1% (of whatever we make each month). I just found out that my co-worker doesn't get commission, has been here for ONE year and makes $2,000.00 base. I feel screwed. I can't figure out whether or not I'm actually being screwed though... am I?

I received a letter saying that said that I won a prize money for $30,000 with a check of $2,996. It has a reference number and a number to call. When I called the guy mentioned the enclosed check has to be cash in my account and once it got clear, I have to make payment using money gram.When using money gram does it give your personal information to this guy if it is a scam. your advice would be appreciate.

WHY cant you count back money to customers silently? i was at my bank this morning making a deposit. there were six other people in line in front of me. this teller was counting back money to this lady and i heard EVERY word she said. $3,250.00. i thought, holy crap, if i wanted to rob this place i would have turned around and went back to my veh and waited for this lady. personally, i think its an invasion of privacy. MOST people get to their veh and recount the money anyway, so why count it back out loud, so that EVERYBOY in the bank knows what that cutomer is leaving the bank with????
