I work for a small law firm where the lawyer is considering forcing all of the employees to wear uniforms (think navy blue stewardess uniforms – VERY cheap looking and unflattering). This is unheard of in my town and I was wondering if anyone would actually think twice about hiring a law firm where all of the employees were forced to wear uniforms.

Would it make us look more professional or less? Our normal attire is on the business formal side (dark suits with dress pants or skirts).

My husband and his ex wife have joint custody. She gets to claim one of the kids on her taxes and he gets to claim the other on his. He has back child support to pay on another child from a previous relationship, so when he files taxes, he never gets his refund back. I file my taxes separately and would like to know if I would be able to claim the child on my taxes instead of letting him since he won't get his taxes back anyways....

A judgement for $2800.00 will be going against my credit soon. I am only 23 years old, and I have good credit now, never been late or over the limit, and I have built up accounts for years in good standings, credit cards, cars, loans etc.... Is this going to be really bad for me? Should I just say screw it and ruin the rest of my credit now? Why pay on time now if this is going to damage it anyways?
