I've never worked at Lowe's but I did work at Home Depot for a while. The best way is to go to the store you are wanting to work and use their computerized job application system there at the store. It's pretty self explanatory. I think you can also do it from home on their web site now. Either way it gets you into their data base and if you look like a good prospect they Will get in touch with you (even if it's for a nearby store other than you the one you applied for).
Also, if you know somebody that works there that can put in a good word for you that works wonders sometimes. Something else that works well is to find out the name of the HR person and call and ask for him personally after you have put in your application. Just let him know that you are following up on your application and express your strong desire to work for them.
Good luck

honestly??? this must be your first job. Just like any other place, you walk in and go to customer service, and ask for a job application. Fill it out there, and ask to talk to a manager. Give the app to the manager, and tell him you are really interested in a cashier job. If you just give it back to the person at the desk and leave, yours will just get lost in the pil of 50 other applicants. You need to talk with the manager so they remember you. Then, call back a few days later and ask to speak to a manager, and ask if you can schedule an interview. You have to be diligent and work at it if you really want a job.

well. make sure you are spelling the words correctly. they may not like that. anyhow, what you can do is you can go to Lowe's, ask them about an application, fill it out and you're set to go. its as easy as 1,2,3. now i dont think they will start you out as a cashier, you will most likely be sweeping floors, etc, when you first start. i hope this helps. :-)

They're fresh out of Casher jobs; however, they're always hiring (not highering) Cashiers.
I'd try for that...

Walk in, ask a cashier - are you highering? They will probably have applications at their register or will direct you where to go. Fill out an application and cross you fingers.

Walk into store. Stop at customer service desk. Say, "Hello, may I please have a job application?"
Complete said application. Return to store. Stop at customer service desk. Say, "Hello, I would like to drop off my job application. May I please speak with the store manager?"
