I shared a place with my landlord, she moved a month before I moved out and never gave me her new address. She failed to give me a written statement and withheld my deposit. I am trying to send her a letter of notification of court, but she won't give me her address. I just told her I was sending a letter, and she said to scan and email it, I have to send it certified mail and get a return receipt. How do I get her address? She now lives in another state.

My family and I are wanting to relocate to the U.S to be with relatives. However, the only way I know is get a working visa so we can stay in the US longer but temporarily (we don't want to get permanent residency at this stage). To get a working visa though, an employer should sponsor us. I know it is usually easier for nurses or IT Professionals to get sponsorhip, I am a finance professional. I've been to monster.com but no success so far.

Any suggestions on the best way (or agent?) to get an employer to sponsor me? Or any other way to get a temporary residency besides a working visa? I am from Aus.

Thanks!

I know someone who hasn't filed their taxes in 5 years, and they went to a tax attorney and were told that they will owe about $45K...could they also get prison time? Would the IRS be easier on them because they are now making it up on their own?

I am considering a sales leadership position with a budget of over $200MM annually. But would appreciate guidance on what levels the salaries in India would be. I would not be directly managing employees but would be a strategic executive with matrix sales mgrs supporting my deals.

To make a long story short, i had a account with a company for a telephone. I disconnected due to horrible service. This was about 1 1/2 years ago. Well, I have moved to a different city and never ended up paying for the bill because I never received one (thinking that they knew I hated there company because they gave me such horrible service, I got the last month for free) About 3 months ago I got a phone call from a collection agency saying that I owe 215.00!! (the cost was only 50 a month with taxes the total should've been only 65.00 MAX) I told them that they need to send me a bill in the mail before I pay them, well they said that they will continue calling me until I pay them and that they will send a bill to me. I contacted my old landlord and asked him if there was any returned mail and he said no there hasn't been a single thing. This company keeps calling me and telling me that I have to pay but I haven't recieved a bill yet afterr 3 months, what should I do???

I mostly ask my close family, friends or relatives to take their shoes off before entering my home because on the inside it's carpet and you know how carpet can get dirty pretty fast especially if people walk in with their shoes on. Has anyone else ever asked the Apt Maintenance crew or Manager from the front office to take their shoes off before entering your home due to the same reason? and do I have the right to tell them before entering because my carpet has been ruined due to them entering and walking around while I was at work and who knows where they walked (shoes) before entering my home. It's really gross!! I, myself take my shoes off outside the door and enter my home in my socks, carry my shoes and put them in shoe boxes that I have versus setting them on top of the rug or even worse right on the carpet.

I got a offer to work with this one orgization. One of my friend started it five years ago and have some success, however she tried to bring it up to the next level. She's trying to make it well known around world. Unfortunately her health is starting to decline, so she passed it onto this one guy that has been working with her whole those years.

I don't really know this guy very well, but he offer me to be a part of it. He says that there won't be any profit for a while but he say there will be a lot of traveling around the world and meeting people. He says if things go well, we'll be able to travel and do a lot of things. If it continue to goes well, we'll make some profit.

I like to travel and I really like the organization idea. However I'm sorta of puzzled by my friend handing it over to this guy. This guy is known for refusing to try take care of complaints from former members or other organization. He basicallly tell them to get lost and move on to do what the orgization
