If partner is on job seekers allowance how many hours can i work before his allowance is stopped. i was informed by Job Centre Plus i could work up to 24hrs per week. Can anyone clarify this as I want to be sure. Thanks

I had a former employer deposit a check into my account incorrectly. It took them a couple of weeks to contact me about it. I haven't spent all off the money, but I have used some of it. Has anyone ever been in this situation? What happened? What can they do? I know this is an issue of ethics, but it was about $1300. They are a huge corp. who would never know the difference and that kind of money makes a big difference in my world. Help!!

We have a business acct. with Bank of America in CA. They are holding a check from Comerica for 14 business days and they will not release the funds. They have also charged us 1000.00 in NSF fees. We have proof from Comerica that the check cleared the next day and they still will not release the funds. All the NSF fees came after the check really did clear, they said there is nothing they can do and they hung up on us.

Me and my ex were purchasing a property together. I refinanced when we divorced and my ex signed a quit claim deed. The bank had the original deed from the person that owned the property before us. I never actually had a deed but recieved the quit claim deed when the morgage was paid in full. Should I try to get the quit claim deed changed to a deed? How can this be done and how much should it cost?

We live in a 4 family home in New Jersey. We have been here for 6 years. My husbands best friend bought this house a year ago and became our new landlord. He lives a few blocks away. My husband did all the maintenance on the house for him and we took out everyones garbage and swept & kept everything nice. We maintained the yard and powerwashed the house and cleaned the basement. Now we get a notice to be out in 60 days. It seems they are renting it out for about $500.00 a month more than we pay. We just completed a beautiful nursery for the baby. We put in drop ceilings and kitchen counter and new floors. All this at our expense. My Husband assumed we would be here a long time. We pay $950.00. We have babies and a big dog and it is hard to find a place in this city that will even take pets. We have a washer and dryer and would like an apartment that will allow it. Do we have rights and what if I don't find a place in 60 days. Our rent is always paid on time.

I want to buy small stock shares in the stock market but I don't know how to get started. Would I need to go through a broker? What kind of broker would I need exactly since i'm not a company? An inexpensive one more than likely. I have a business in line that I would like to buy a small stock from but I just don't know how much it would cost. How much money would that run and if its a good stock, how much would I be able to receive? I'm not trying to make millions, maybe thousands. Please help me.
