If you're looking to get a first time credit card your best chance is probably with someone like capital one. They take risks and will give first timers a card. Dont spend a lot. just a lil, pay it off, build credit, then go with a better card company that doesnt charge ridiculous finance charges

to build credit start by getting a credit card. You may want to go with chase or capital one (the are good about giving cards to newbies). Then just go from there

Get one of those credit cards that you actually have money in and that is your limit. So long as you continue to pay what you charge, it will help build credit.
