I took a Professional Paralegal Exam in September and just got my results back. I missed getting the certification by two questions. I can retake the exam in March, but I'm so bummed out about it, I don't know if I even want to. Any advice? Thanks.

Hey, life goes on. Just remind yourself that. You'll retake it and do better next time.

I work in a firm with 11 paralegals, only one of whom has a certification, an RP, and it was something she did after she was hired. There is a huge push by the exam proponents, but, unless you are looking to work in one of the very few areas of the country where one of these exams is a de facto requirement, don't let it get you down. It's more important to have appropriate education and experience.
