What if you changed your name, if you tell your last boss will they most likely be cool about it & just use your new name as if that was the name they knew you as, or will they feel the need to tell the new boss that your old name was XXXX. ?
It's just a little embarassing (I mean changing first names, I switched my middle and first name).

I left my 2 main references (most recent) at a recent job interview. The boss said she will contact me Monday or Tuesday (to tell me if I got the job I assume!). It was just a form where you had to list jobs and supervisor's name & number and check "yes" it's ok for them to contact them.

I found out though that both of these references are traveling for the next 2 weeks (it's a conference in the same field). I have their cell numbers but I don't think I should give those out (unless absolutely have to).

If she can't contact them, will she tell me & allow me to rectify it or just toss my application? She seemed really interested in me ...... if I get a good call Mon or Tue does that mean it's OK?

Like she wouldn't let me start working and then say on Friday "oh by the way, I can't contact your reference, you'd better fix that?"

thanks.

Gordon Ramsay likes ladies than gentlemens .... or ....
By the way ... am a chef ... and I was cooking at one of the restaurants, owened by Gordon Ramsay Holdings Company, based in London. So your answers should reflect the right humour.
PS: Did you notice when Gordon was gaving a cheeky smile at Virginia when they were at a shopping place at the last series. I am sure the cameramen and the film editor noticed their romance. why not ... Gordon is deserved to enjoy whatever he wants .... mmmmm .. am jealous ... i should admit that .. .. lol.....

My boyfriend is about to make a life changing decision, but he is afraid to give up his engineering major for a math and psychology double major because he doesn't know what he can do with it. I believe the change would be good for him but I need something tangible to share with him. Thanks in advance :)

I was contacted by a collection agency about a debt from WI that I had 10 years ago. It was a state debt (Unemployment compensation to be exact). They went to court and got a judgement against me back then, they then reported to the WI Circuit Court Access System which the date was in August 1997. I guess my question is, can the collection agency still try to collect after all this time? I currently live in another state for the past 10 years and the collection agency is local. Please, only real and credible answers please!

Hi, I turned 18 on September 16th and opened a student credit card issued by citi, and then the other day I went shopping, and saw with a macys card u get good discounts...was that a good idea on my part to open a macys card?

Im a very disciplined card holder, and leave my cards home so I dont get tempted, but I heard it is bad for ur credit score to have 2 accounts open.

Any truth?

Myself & my fiance' are starting a cleaning service. We intend to hire employees. In preparing for this, we decided a Limited Liability Partnership would be the best option.

Would this LLC/LLP fall under the entity type "partnership", or "corporation"?

Any feedback regarding this entity type selection would also be very welcome.
