Yesterday I used an ATM twice. I checked my online banking page last night and both of the transactions appeared and were reflected in my balance. Now I just checked my online banking page again and those two transactions have completely disappeared and my balance is bigger... as though the withdrawals never happened.

Why is this? This has never happened to me before. I'm not gonna call my bank and ask them... just in case I actually got that lucky. But I'm sure not counting my chickens because this seems really strange.

Can anyone explain this to me?

..but it's about a three minute walk from the factory line to the break room, should you be able to be away from your work station for 16 minutes to be able to relax for the 10 minutes, or do you just get 4 minutes to sit down and relax? (factory work is such a bummer)

Since more waking hours per week are spent in the workplace and around co-workers, do you now think of your workplace as "home" and co-workers as "family" ? Do you decorate your office/cubicle to resemble "home" with family photos and favorite trinkets etc? How much free time is spent socializing with co-workers as opposed to family and neighbors?

I would like to be an English teacher but as a single mom of a 4 yr. old I cannot possibly support both of us and accomplish student teaching requirements. I have a flair for writing poetry but not prose, so journalism is out. Something that does not require more than a bachelor's degree would be ideal.

Some say education is essential for a good career, others say it takes street smart to climb the ladder. Aside from the extreme cases (bill gates and some 37 yrs old PHD jobless). What do you really think? How important is it to have a college degree?

Federal tax revenues are higher than they were, higher than at any point in history, higher than the CBO projected they would be with the tax cuts, and higher than the CBO projected they would be without the tax cuts. And the Fed has been restrictive, which means it's not the temporary effect of monetary policy - in fact monetary policy is working AGAINST growth of GDP and the tax base.

Yes we have a deficit and that's a problem but it results from INCREASED SPENDING, for which BOTH parties are to blame.

And given the increase in revenue, it's possible that a tax RATE hike would CUT revenue.

How can ANYONE be against making the tax cuts permanent now that they've proven to pay for themselves?

he said that whenever an employee calls don't ask 4 where they r what they're doing just give the phone call 2 the person he's asking 4. I wanted to know where he's at in case someone asks. i just wanted 2 be on top of things. i don't like to say "i don't know". & the other day there was a new employee and the boss failed 2 inform us that there he hired a new guy. he was supposed 2 start @9. he came in at 9:30. So, i said so u'r late, in a playful tone. I said that while i was punching him in and wrote his name on his time card. i thought i was being friendly. so the person that was charging at me said all you have to do is "SIT THERE ANSWER THE PHONE AND LOOK PRETTY" that was the part where i was offended. i didn't say anything, just let him talk. was trying 2 get 2 the bottom of it but he wouldn't let me. I went to accounting school, although answering the phone is part of my job description, that's not all i do and i feel like i was stereotyped. what do you think?
