Those who earn more money pay a progressively higher rate as they earn more - how is it possible that lower earners can find a way to complain about this? The top 1% of earners pay over 20% of all income taxes...without them we would need more tax revenue from EVERYONE! The current system by definition discriminates against the wealthy - what would the poor have to say about a (totally "fair" and even) flat tax? Someone help me!

The case was approved August 2006. We continued paying our Mortgage and car payment but all else is part of the payment plan through the courts. Will that be considered income? Thats our concern for taxes due.

I have the possiblity that I might be sued for a delinquent credit card bill. They take you to court and sue you for payment, and it is called a credit card judgment (CCJ), and they can garnish your wages or take from your savings, etc.

Does anyone know, can you declare bankruptcy after the judgment (CCJ) is made, and have the CCJ included under the bankruptcy protection? Can you declare bankruptcy and have the CCJ as a part of it? Someone tried to tell me that it becomes a "secure" debt that you can't include in a bankruptcy, once the court makes a CCJ judgment.

Thank you in advance.

I work in a major supermarket in my area, and I have a boss that is often rude and nasty. She complains that I use the water fountain too much on the job. I work outside about 1/2 the time, and it's often very hot. so naturally I get very thirsty. Just the other day, she commented: " I'm going to count every time that you use
the water fountain today"! I thought that was totally uncalled for. I felt like saying: "How do you know I don't have diabetes"? What would you do in this situation?

Is a long term unemployment a valid reason; Is a 2 month notice sufficient? Is relocation to another state valid? What are the alternatives?

i opened this type of one year-savings accoount. ok. I deposited 600 bucks in it. Then, this account requires me to deposit at least 50 bucks each month. Alright?
So lets say I do deposit 50 bucks each month. So one year from now I will have the $600 and the $50 times 12 months. So one year from now I will have a total of $1200. It says that the dividend rate is 4.790% and annual percent yield is 4.90%.
I don't really understand those terms. I just wanna know how much money will be in my account one year from now.

If a company advertises a position with no relocation benefit, what are the chances that they actually are willing to relocate you if you insist (but rather not volunteer). The company in question has an asset of 20 billion and the position advertised is managerial (but not executive) with rather specific skill sets.

I've been in retail since I graduated high school. In fact, I graduated H.S. in Jan of 1999 and got my first full-time job at a retail change that February. Now since then i've been in and out of different retail jobs. In February of 2004 I decided to get into an Office Administration program. It's been a year later and I haven't heard anything from any jobs in the field I spent 8,000 dollars to work in. Most of the jobs I seemed to apply for find me unqualified. But my sister in law who was going to school to be a paralegal (not office admin) gets a temp job for a law firm doing receptionist work. I still haven't found anything that suits my needs in Office Support/Clerical/Typist or anything like that. Tell me, why is it so hard to change careers? Why do you have to go through the ringer just to find *some* work. And why is it so easy for others?

3 people share a hotel room for $30 dollars, each person paying $10 each. The manager realizes he overcharged them by $5. He give the bellboy the $5 to return to the guests. The guests each keep a dollar, so now they payed $9 each instead of $10, and gave the belloby a $2 tip. 3 guest payed $9 =$27 plus bellboy $2 tip = $29. Where did the other dollar go??
