I'm sorry to hear about your situation, but at 34 weeks, you need to start taking it easy. I'm at 36 and find that I'm limited in what I even feel up to doing anymore. Sometimes just some shopping and cleaning leaves me wiped out.

Chances are, you'd only be able to work for another 3 weeks, 4 tops before you'd have to stop. And then there's the matter of whether or not you plan to return to work after the baby and how long. I'm not sure if there is employment out there that is so short term. If anything, your husband may want to consider something temporary until he finds a better position.

I know that's not the sort of answer you want, but it is the most realistic. My husband and I are only living on $300/week right now, so I know what it is like to have a baby on the way and be strapped for cash, but don't stress too much or overwork yourself, it does affect the baby.

im sorry to hear that i know at times things can get rough and that is no reason for anyone to judge anyone else. do you have any office jobs around where you live? like maybe a telemarketing job or a secetary position? look for something where you would be sitting most of the time when i worked as a telemarketer a woman there worked up until she delivered.congredulations on you soon to be baby and i hope things get better for you.

For the time being, both you and your husband may want to look into a temporary staffing agency. A lot of times they provide temp to hire positions.

In your current condition, it will probably be difficult to get a job. Employers can see you are pregnant and there is a possibility that if they spend the time to train you that you may not come back and it would be a waste of resources for the employer.

Telemarketing.

You get to sit down the whole time! :) I see ads all the time in the paper for this and some of them are companies you would even feel ok selling, like museum memberships and such.

I hope you don't think this is rude, but you should consider applying for something like WIC and you would save money bc you would be saving lots on groceries!

Good luck.

Get a job at your hospital. You could do sit down clerical work or answering phones or reception.....you would even be there if you went into labor....:)

Honey, aren't you close to giving birth. I don't think you need to be working right now. Your husband is the one who needs to find something.tell me what he has done and maybe we can think of something for him email to mysticmoonprincess01@yahoo.com
He may try to get unemployment benefits to get through until he finds something and food stamps.
