I am a stationery importer in Bangladesh. I want to buy some stationery products from a trading company in Singapore. But I see that some importers are the sole distributor in Bangladesh of the stationeries which I want to import. Now My asking is that if I import some stationery items from the trading company, will I face any problem to release the goods from customs? Please update me.

We are offering an EDP to our In-house Mid-level Officers lasting 15 months. The Course is an abridged version of a regular MBA prog. The students have already completed 3 terms.

Term IV will commence from 13th Nov'06 and will conclude on 3rd of Jan'07. During Term IV, we are offering a Course Titled, Pvt. Wealth Mgmt. to the Mgmt. Students.

We are on the look out of Resource Persons who can drive this 2 Credit Course viz. 14 Sessions of 75 minutes duration each in our Management School located at Bangalore. The Resource Persons should have practical exposure in providing Pvt. Banking / Pvt. Wealth Mgmt. Service to HNW Cusomers [Portfolio in the range of USD 2 M and above]. Persons having work experience in Pvt. Banking Divn. in reputed Institutions like UBS, HSBC, J M Morgan or other reputed Investment Bankers will be preferred.

I just sold my stock A for a long-term loss of $50K.

I then sold my stock B for a long-term gain of $50K.

Can I then immediately buy back stock B (same number of shares) and still offset the two gain/loss to not pay tax on B's 50K capital gain? If yes, wouldn't this be an always-win situation for me: not having to pay tax on B's 50K and now own the same number of B's shares at a higher cost-basis?

to pursue any payments. she sent me an eviction notice because i hung up on her. she had no cause to break the year lease i have with her and her name is not on her husbands property she is filipino and married a man from here. she is trying to take the property back because she says she is spoiled and noone talks to her like that. i have sent certified mail asking her how she wants the balance of the rent money and no reply. im confused. i have a motel business and 4 apartments and a cafe here. she told the other renters from the apartments not to send me my monthly payments because she is evicting me. nothing filed as of yet. help

My uncle owns a small business and with any small business, you have people that don't know that they have to PAY for services. Well, he told me that if I wanted to take the time to fill out the paperwork and do the legwork to get this money collected, he would split the money collected 50/50.

How would I go about legally forcing people to pay their bills? My uncle is a vet and the average uncollected bill that he has was about $50. Some are larger, some smaller. What all would be involved? What order would I have to go through to make sure all of the bases are covered? I live in Iowa and the business is also in Iowa.

I work with a guy alone most of the time at night and he started to talk to me about a man's pee pee (short term for you know what) and details why he had a sex - change. i was uncomfortable but i didnt right away say anything. two days later he mentioned to me about him not being very professional and i did say "well these past two nights in what you say haven't been, no". credit cards in the last 2-3 months you will most likely have to pay those debts off in in full.. Does that mean over the 3-5 year time period? Because of money being so tight we have had to put everything on a credit card.. But I am gainfully employed so I dont need to file for a chapter 7.. But I just read the part about if you have run up your credit cards you have to pay them in full so I was curious about what that means
