I am 21 and want to get a place of my own. I have no money and I am on a temporary job, earning £5.60 per hour. I do not work full time some weeks, but I do most. Starting at the beginning, can someone please tell me exactly what I need to do to buy my own place. As much detail as possible please, and no jokes, as this is a serious question. Thank you.

Here is my situation: I am both a citizen and resident in the US and Italy. I spend more time in Europe than in the US. I left the US Navy a couple of years ago and started working in offshore engineering as an ROV pilot. My big question is, since I make all my income outside the US from different sources, how much should I expect to be paying if I paid my taxes in the US? I know that some countries such as the UK have a tax law for those workers who are not physically present in the UK. As long as they declare it, they pretty much can claim it all back. In Italy, I believe that I would be required to pay 40 some odd percent tax and too me that is just ridiculous so if I can stay legal and pay less to no tax.....all legitimate suggestions are appreciated.

The people in my office men and women always have something to say. I bought a new dress and I thought it was so cute and the first thing they said was "is that your moms dress?" I was hurt all day. They other day two people gave me advice (not asked for) on dealing with my skin. I'am the youngest person in my office and they all check my out as soon as I walk in the door. I have tried to tell my boss and she said not to be so sensitive. They make mean hurtful comments everyday. How do I deal with this problem. I love my job so I don't want to quit. I got my hair cut short and five people told me they liked it longer. I feel like they pick on me. I have tried to ignore them but they make it a point to come to my desk to get my attention. Help me think of a solution please. Thank you

My boss owns a small resteraunt with roughly 10 employees. He is going to sell the building to one of four employees but tends to be focusing more on this other girl who he has still had many problems with. She is very trashy and comes to work with a foul odor. On the otherhand, Im always clean-cut. Im also one of the four employees who have a chance.

He has never had a problem with me, but he had a meeting with the other girl today on the business.

How do you think I can still convince him to let me have it? I need help... time is running by fast and if I had this business it would help my life out so much.

I am seriously thinking about leaving the US due to the looming financial mess on the horizon. I'm a 25 year old professional, and with the baby boomers retiring soon Social Security and Medicare will become enormous burdens on the fewer workers who remain in the workforce (i.e., me) to pay taxes. The only ways to balance the budget, that I see, are through higher taxes on my wages, or a devaluation of the dollar. Either way my standard of living will take a hit. So, I'm thinking of getting out now- before the music stops and the party crashes- and establishing a new life overseas in a country with more stable prospects. Why should I stay here and work hard and pay taxes to fund other people's retirements when those programs won't be around when I need them? My generation is going to have to pay for the promises made to the baby boomer generation- pensions, etc.- but companies no longer offer pensions for us. So what about leaving the country before the train wrecks?
