Seriously, people - I'm freakin' pissed. Unless you like being unemployed, there better be some gifts on my desk ASAP.

Yes, that means you. And any "thumbs down" issued will result in immediate dismissal.

I already own my own business, but also work (full time for 6 years) as a 1099 sub for another company. Looking to make the leap out of the security of the 1099 and into my own company. I tend to be worried about failure, and tend to self sabotage my own business endeavors. Seems im afraid of success also :) So looking for someone who has been through a similar situation and can offer me some advice. Thanks in advance.

(Getting Divorced) My Spouse, although didn't put a penny into it, may try to take it from me. The Deed is in my name, but we are married. Can it be done?

I've sent in resumes for a few positions and no callbacks. Now they have a new position opening up. Should I send my resume? And should I send a cover letter even though it's not required (would that put me one step ahead of everyone else)? By the way, it's a position for a ticket box office cashier with a big possibility for advancement into different departments. This would help since I have a degree in history and working at a naval museum would help my resume out a lot.

I am buying a house that is occupied by tenants. They do not have a least or contract. According to their current landlord, they are on a month to month agreement. I live in Illinois, and to my understand, under the circumstances of the month to month rent agreement they are living by, their current landlord only has to give them a 30 day notice/warning to leave the property or work a deal out with the new landlord (me) before closing on the house. Am I correct?

When I take over, I do not want them in the property, so what does the current landlord has to do to insure when the title is transferred I will not recieve the house occupied with unwanted tenants?
