Just apply for a lot of jobs in your field, and take the best offer that you get, whether it's really your dream job or not. Then you can build experience and earn money while in your free time you look for the job you really want. It's always easier to get a better offer when you're employed than if you are not doing anything...

The best way I know is to work for yourself... find your passion and begin work immediately. Perhaps you can use some the profits on the land to bankroll your business. Think about it... Your own business... doing things the way you want to do them.

If they ask you, you could say that you were traveling, taking care of a sick family member, raising your child, or looking for employment since it does take a while to find jobs.
