I am 42 years old and want to retire in 5 years to a quiet life with my wife. We are looking at a place in the Pakistani mountains and would like to convert it into a luxury family run guest house that will be open 6 to 7 months a year (it is snowed-in in the other months). The idea is to earn enough in those months and then move back to our house in the city, relax, travel etc. in the off months. Good idea? What does it take? What can we expect?

Hi Everyone,
I own a jewellery website which I've just started marketing in my local newspaper and had no response at all and believe that perhaps I targeted the market blindly or competion is fierce.

I have now decided to go into party planning where people actually
see and feel the products and I will also sell watches and handbags.

I have spoken to a ann summers party planner which is always taking bookings for parties and is keen to sell my products.

I will also get other party planners involved in this.

Can anyone out there give me some advice on this matter and how I go about party planning?

Thank you very much

How much do they make in residency? Is it more or less than a non-military residency? What is their starting salary after residency? How much do they make 5 years out of residency? 10? Can doctors go on reserve like other members of the armed forces and hold a civilian job? If so, how much do they get paid for being on reserve? If you could provide a source or anything that has information on military docs that would be great.

After working all your life did you end up healthy, wealthy, and wise enough to enjoy your leisure? Can you afford to go anywhere or buy anything you want or are you bagging part time to meet your bills?

Did those dreams you had for years get stomped by economic reality, poor planning, or age frailty? Are you now sitting in the sunshine somewhere you always wanted to be and finding that it was all worth it? Or has your life without work become worse than your life with work?

Best part of your life or the worst?
