For small, hollow-stem auger rigs doing domestic and environmental wells - about the same as elsewhere. Maybe $10-12 for a driller's helper (plus lots of overtime in the summer). $15-20/hour for a driller plus overtime. More if they have / can handle some management responsibilities as well (ordering supplies, co-ordinating with clients, etc).

For oil/gas exploration/development drilling? $80-110k or so. There natural gas exploration and development wells going in around Cook Inlet. Some hard-rock holes for assessing minerals for Pebble Mine among others. And, of course, work on the North Slope.

The Slope work can be nice because most of it is 2 weeks on (14 12-hour days) and 2 weeks off. So you get 13 2-week vacations a year. The employer (BP, ARCO, Veco, Haliburton, etc) pays your transit from Anchorage. So some guys live "Outside" (48 states) and commute to work once every 4 weeks.
