I own a small business where I provide wedding services and the contract specifically says that all "Final Changes and Balances are Due__________ (late fees applied after this date)". We carefully explain this date and then the customer initials next to this final due date. We even give them a courtesy call before the due date so they won't get charged the late fee, and they still pay late. But that's not what upsets me. It's their indignant attitude and getting all pissed off and arguing with us over it. How do I nicely inform customers why there are late fees. And how do I properly address the issue without it getting any uglier than it already is?

What is the best card for me to get? I know interest rate is a big deal, but since I plan on paying it off every month it shouldn't make that much of a difference correct?

I'm starting an online social networking website business, but I have very limited resources. How can I market or advertise my site to as many people as possible with very little or no money? How did other companies such as myspace, friendster or facebook do it?

Hi guys,

I'm 16. I have a debit card. I went to a porn website and used it to buy a trial thingy for £1.63. A few days later, I find the website has charged me an extra £16.57. I can't tell my Dad or my bank. I know this is a lesson for life, but what should I do?

I understand that labor is cheap, but its a fact that Indian workers are underpaid when compared to their overseas counterpart. I speak out of experience.

Osteo Arthiritus in my knees along with other problems in the same area, about a month before I went on sick leave our house went up for sale, and sold and because it is only a weeny house we couldn't store the boxes that we packed, so I asked my Regional Manager (of the company that I work for) if I could store the boxes in the massive warehouse of the store of which I am Manager of, as the upstairs warehouse doesn't get used, He asked how long it would be up there for and I replied hopefully only until the end of August, now, in this time, last week the Regional Manager emailed my store telling my Assistant Manager to phone and inform me that them boxes had to be removed asap!, I know that the time predicted was longer than original stated, but I am on sick leave, how was I suppose to remove the boxes at a snap of a finger!! I had to get my wife and her mum (who was still recovering from an op herself) to collect the boxes, Inconciderate and unfair I thought, what are your thoughts?
