An executive secretary in a private company does anything and everything required by the executive ore executives they are working for.
This can be a very professional position whereby you are scheduling meetings, taking minutes, setting up time tables, preparing reports, executive summaries, filing, making travel arrangements, and even sometimes a minor amount of book keeping or record keeping.

However; it sometimes can include trivial jobs from making and getting coffee, arranging lunches, making personal appointments and even personal errands.

Make sure you get a job description and understand what your responsibilities will be. You may be disappointed when you take on the job if you don't understand the requirements.
Nothing worse than wasting professional talent in demeaning errands and non-value added activities unless you know what to expect and you are OK with it.
