My friend's kid got a credit card and is under the age of 18 but the card is in the childs name. Her mom does not have money to pay the bills she has raked up. Will her mom be held responsible? What will happen?

I have a tax office that pays the rent and gives me a small profit toward living expences but not really enough. I am thinking of opening a real estate business (I would get a boker's licence) out of the same office. I am trying to determine if this would be worth my while. The big problem I have is I do not know what to expect to pay the agents who would be working for me. I live in Southern California. I know nothing is set in stone on this issue, but what should I figure on paying?

My broker keeps talking up bond funds. But I still can't see what they have to offer over buying a few CDs with different maturities. When I look at the return for bond funds they all look pretty bad. Thoughts?

I signed a deal with a pre-built home company three years ago, and found a small house design I liked. They sent me three blueprints to look at, and I've since then lost them.

QUESTION: Is there an "average price" for a standard set of blueprints for a standard-type model house ? This house was nothing all that "unusual", but they want the blueprints back now (since things didn't work out between us). Again, "average cost" for a set of THREE BLUEPRINTS ?
THANKS VERY MUCH !!!!!!!!!!!!

How can the inflation rate be at such a low rate if the growth of the money supply is expanding at such a high rate. The increases in GDP don't really accord with this either.

How do you square this circle?
