Hi Kyrsten, Sounds like you are going to be busy soon. For pet setting=$1.75 per hr.
Babysitting=$3.50 per hr.
House sitting=
I would set a rate.Like for a week $35.00,thats $5.00 a day.
This is a very fair price for all.

I pay $17 for a 30 minute pet sitting visit for my two cats. My pet sitter checks up on my house, takes in the mail, trash cans, etc. and waters my plants in addition to caring for my cats.

I don't have kids so I have no idea what I would pay for a babysitter.

where are you located ? what is the going rate in that area ? what is your age and experience ? What hours will you be working? What particular extra duties are you going to perfom ? Without that information we probably cannot give you a reasonable answer

Tell them you'll do it as a way to help them out, and say if they want to help you out with money, that'd be appreciated.

Then you'll be helping create a giving world, rather than one tied to the holy dollar.
