I started my own photography business. I got the permit and lic ense and all. Unfortunatley i work full time and OT, have a part time job and go to school. This leaves me no time to actively engage in the business right now. Yet, i still spend money on photo supplies etc. which i plan on writing off on my taxes the way I did last year. I have made only about 200$ in revenue. (I know how pathetic that sounds, but again, I haven't tried) Can I get in trouble with the IRS?

I know there are resealable bubble wrap bags in clear plastic, but I would like something a little bit more formal. I am going to use them as shopping bags. I sell custom jewelry and would like to use these as a mean of protection to my customers when they buy my jewelry. i would like different size also; from earings to necklaces.... Please inform me if anybody has this services or knows who does this!

I came here looking for info. on working from home and there's about three people (probably the same person with different monikers) promoting those scams. They cut and paste the same lousy info. This isn't right. Is it futile to try and stop it? And yes, I'm new to this.

We're purchasing a home in the Akron, OH area, but our mortgage approval at this point will be based on what the other homes in the area have sold for, even though our offer is below the appraisal. With the housing bubble deflating the way it has, that doesn't sound so good.

A corporation can earn 7.5% if it invests in municipal bonds. The corporation can also earn 8.5% (before tax) by investing in preferred stock. Assume that the two investments have equal risk. What is the break-even corporate tax rate which makes the corporation indifferent between the two investments?

I’m in a dispute with IRS over my 2004 taxes. Back in 2005, I carefully included all my W2s in 2004 tax return. Now problem is that I have one particular W2 form, but IRS has no record of it. Furthermore, the company that issued me that W2 is out of business now.

What should I do now? Will I be responsible for mistake in W2 form made by my employer?

My ex-borther in law lives around the corner from my husband and I and he told us before he told the landlord that he was moving out of his house, we have the same landlord. We live in a small little town right outside of Houston. The landlord just called to make sure we still wanted the house.

The rent we pay now is only $575 a month on a 3 / 1 1/2 / 2 trailer, the rent on the house is $750 a month 3 / 2 1/2 / 2 which is not much of a difference but my husband makes just enough to get by with the bills we have now. We really need this house, the rooms are bigger, the yard is bigger, and the kitchen is bigger.

I don't mind working I just need to be home for when the kids get home from school. I need something that is part-time Tues, Wed, and Thurs 9:00a-2:00p or something that is legit from home.

Does anyone have some suggestions for temp agencies in Manhattan, that are actor friendly? At least agencies that have decent jobs, not handing out flyers or loading trucks..That is ones that handle articulate, college educated personnel.

I read and hear that business and investment success is not so much dependant on the amount of start up capital anylonger, but the viability of the business or investment idea.So guys out there, send me what business you advise i should do to start building my wealth.Better if you advise something you did yourself or know somebody who did because at 40 with a business degree i dont want to risk my core money in blind experiments.Much better if you can use some figures and time frames to demonstrate the likely viability of your ideas..

I'm 22 years old and my single mother has passed away. After assets are liquidated, I expect to have about 20 thousand dollars. (There's more but I have siblings :P) I have no job right now. I was taking care of Mom. But I don't expect any difficulty finding one.

My car is paid for. I've thought about the insurance for it. I know I'll need money for gas, taxes, inspections, maintenance. I need food. I have a cell phone. I have two chihuahuas and a cat to take care of. *face palm but I love 'em* Then the apartment which I expect will be 800 a month. *shrug*

What else should I be thinking about? Thanks!
