My ex-borther in law lives around the corner from my husband and I and he told us before he told the landlord that he was moving out of his house, we have the same landlord. We live in a small little town right outside of Houston. The landlord just called to make sure we still wanted the house.

The rent we pay now is only $575 a month on a 3 / 1 1/2 / 2 trailer, the rent on the house is $750 a month 3 / 2 1/2 / 2 which is not much of a difference but my husband makes just enough to get by with the bills we have now. We really need this house, the rooms are bigger, the yard is bigger, and the kitchen is bigger.

I don't mind working I just need to be home for when the kids get home from school. I need something that is part-time Tues, Wed, and Thurs 9:00a-2:00p or something that is legit from home.

I totally understand how you need to be there when your kids get home, but why not open your options and look for a night time job if your husband is at home at night? Like packing out stock at a Home Depot or Walmart? You may even be able to do it part time.

The coolest job I have heard of is a scheduler/admin help from home. I am a sales guy in finance who works out of my home...and there are tons of us across the country...many in my industry use schedulers to set our appointments for us and handle our expense reports so we can focus on sales and spend time with family when we are at home. Having someone do this saves us hours and hours. I know that you can make 7-8k a year per guy and you could maybe handle two salespeople at once. There are several of these companies that you can get on with and as long as you do your job and get things done...you can do it on your own timeframe....it is not as easy as it sounds but it is flexible and not some ridiculous scheme job from home.

best of luck
