I came here looking for info. on working from home and there's about three people (probably the same person with different monikers) promoting those scams. They cut and paste the same lousy info. This isn't right. Is it futile to try and stop it? And yes, I'm new to this.

Yes, when they spam click on report abuse and report them.
You are right Yahoo! answers has not figured it out yet but yes
some of them are the same person with several accounts
"Joe B" "Bob Y" and "Mike" is one person. One asks the
question and the other spams with ************* . The
************* answer from one of them (usually Mike) is
awarded "Best Answer" I give this guy credit because no one
from Yahoo! answers knows about this. So he continues his
scam every day, and suckers other people into answering as
well for nothing.

If you're serious to earn some money, there are many ways depending on what you want to do online or to sell. Survey is the easiest way but it is easy to be scammed. If you can spend some time and a bit money, Ebay is a good option. Many sell on eBay through dropshipping companies like this one http://tinyurl.com/mhkb9 You do not need to pack, to mail, and to pay them first.
