I got a call for an interview and they asked me what pay range I was looking for and I really hadn't thought of it so I just made up an amount right there on the spot. For someone like an administrative assistant what is a good pay range. I said twenty four to thirty four thousand.

My soon to be ex wife filed her taxes married filing seperately and now I am stuck with the entire bill. I know longer work in the same Industry and am going bankrupt due to the divorce. My income is now reduced to below $30,000.00 and I pay out $700.00 a month for one child. Has anyone had any luck dealing with the IRS? My Tax accountant was speechless and said he was going to use me as an Example to his other and prospective clients. HELP

I am having a hard time understanding WHY people take credit for ideas that are not theirs. I work, where we work as a team, and we work with people who are in crisis all the time, so we have to come up with soluations all the time. I have been finding that there are a couple of co workers are claiming that my soluations are theirs. I am becoming quite frustated with this, as in the end the big boss is praising them, It is not that I want the praise , because I am there to help our clients. I just don't think that it is right that this is right. I am of the believe that " give credit where credit is due " These 2 co works are having a hard time coming up with their own ideas so they take mine. I now feel that I should keep my mouth shut on sharing my ideas, and just talk to the boss about them. The problem is, if I do that, there is no such thing as team work anymore. Any good ideas or suggestions on how I shoud handle this.

I've been doing alot of research in terms of qualifying for a home loan and can't seem to find an answer to this. Many home loans require you to show a bank account statement of atleast 3 months of savings. I unfortunately don't have that but the monthly mortage is not an issue. Will my parents adding my name to their savings account allow me to still use that account as proof of the 3+ months savings to qualify for the loan? Will this help in any way towards getting approved for the loan. Thanks!

I'm getting charged a $39 late fee (which I am refusing to pay or they'll lose my business) because the payment that I made EARLY posted less than 24 hours before the end of the previous "statement" period, so it applied to the balance but not to the "minimum balance due" for the next month. So I'm being penalized for their technicalities. This is about the 5th or 6th time I've had problems because of how long it took them to post my electronic payments!!! One time I requested it 3 days before my due date and it posted an hour after midnight on the due date and was "late". And don't forget the time when their system was down for a week and a half, conveniently right over my due date, so I wasn't able to log in and make the payment on time, so I called them before my due date and made sure they didn't charge me for their errors. These people have not gotten any late fees out of me yet and they're not gonna. Who else is fed up with their BS and wants to vent??!!?!

I might have to terminate my apartment lease earlier becos we are thinkin of buying house that is closer to work.As I read throught my lease, there's nothing about early termination fee! I don know if that is legal for not including that piece of info in the contract showing how much exactly,i called the management (by equity residential),she admit to me that there is no early termination clause in the lease we signed, but they has a "separate sheet" of paper stating that the "Current" early termination fee is 2 1/2 months rent and that is subject to change from time to time,i never being told about these and never saw this piece of paper, she later added that she'll only show it to me when i decided to terminate the lease.the lease we signed is for 1 year.Am i legally bound to pay for whatever early termination fee as set in their "separate piece of paper" ?or am i bound to pay for the rest of the rent throught out the lease? Is it legal for them to charge early termination under CA law?

I am trying to decide whether to contract with a property mangement company or hire a qualified individual to manage an 8 plex I am getting ready to purchase. Has anyone had any experience with either? I am liking the idea of hiring an individual like a stay at home mom that could manage it on the side for maybe less than what I would pay a property management company who may not give the property as much attention. Anyone have any thoughts?

Hello,

I'm a 25 year-old male and have a BS in Communications with an emphasis in broadcasting. I haven't worked professionally as a journalist because the pay blows and there are no benefits. I received this degree in December of 2005. I've considered going back to school since I can't find any real work. I m toying with the idea of nursing as a career. A local community college has an LPN associates degree that would apply to a Bachelor of nursing degree. I could get the job (upon getting a license) and many hospitals (supposedly) pay tuition reimbursment for the bachelor's completion. Would do you all think given my situation? Is anybody here an LPN or RN? What do you like or dislike about the job? Personally, I want to help people and fel needed. I also like the idea of career stability. Thoughts? Thanks in advance!

I need a good name for an online media sales business. I will be selling mostly cd's, but books and dvd's also. Most catchy names of relevance are taken, something meaningless or abstract may be the better way to go.I am thinking about not even trying to use a title that has disc,cd,music, media or anything like that unless it has a unique word or phrase along with it. Any help at all you could give me will be appreciated. I am open to any bizzare or absract word or phrase. The first thing that pops in your head that makes no sense will be most likley what I will use.
