Please help, any advice is appreciated.
I am starting to see a pattern in the way my time progresses at a job. When I get a new job (which on average is every 1.5 years), I am gung ho and I am a VERY fast learner, I have no problem catching on. Then I spend the next 6 months to 1 year learning the details of the job. At that point I feel almost like an expert in my job, but I know that there is always more to learn. Then I get really comfortable and see that I do not know all of the details, but for some reason I do no have the spirit to learn any more because I like being comfortable and I feel that I have done my time. However in not knowing these little extra things that the seasoned people know, I feel stupid and start to hate my job and I start seeing flaws in the way things are done. And then I start looking into moving on to a new job.

My parents both kept the same 1 job their whole lives. What's wrong with me? How do I get past this? Is this normal?

I've been trying to track the legalities of not paying back payday loans on time and have gotten mixed signals from the answers on this question board. Some people have answered that one can go to jail for not paying back these loans, others have stated that we have no "debtors prisons" and that payday loan collectors are the ones actually breaking the law by threatening to use law enforcement. Does anyone know the real story behind this? I got myself in a mess and am currrently paying some of them off, but can't afford to pay them all at once. What is going to happen?

I thought shorts drove down the price, but I read somewhere that if there is a lot of short interest in a stock, and the stock rises, then the shorts covering will rise the price higher.

AT&T is charging us for two months of services this month (phone, long dis, dsl, and dish) with no prior notice. They say it's to get us ahead a month, so that instead of paying for the previous month that has already been used, we will be paying for the month in advance. When I received the bill this month, it was double what it normally is and they're not willing to work with us to pay it out in two paychecks. Is it legal for them to do this without prior notification?
