Here in florida we have programs like worksource to help you find work rergardless of your felon status. Contact your local welfare office to get imformation on similar programs where you live. Some of them even offer training to get better jobs if you show you are willing to work hard. Employment agegencies also have jobs you can look up, or dead worst case a labor pool where you can go to work and let them see what you can do before they get to that part of your back ground. Above all else be honest on applications. failure to disclose that information if you do get hired can also get you terminated. Good luck and I hope this helps.
Oh last thing, look into bus schudles if you can not drive. That will at least give you affordable transportation, also will let you know what hours to put down you can work based on the route you would have to take.

Just hang in there and keep trying, someone will hire you. If I could help you, I would give you a second chance at life. We all have to learn to forgive and forget, we all have made some mistake in our life. Wish you luck dude.

Perhaps go back into some education. It'd show employers that you're really comitted to a new go at life, that you're capable of self-discipline and, of course, that you're qualified for the job.

Good luck!
