I love these people who think they are "saving" a few dollars by shopping at Wal Mart, they make me laugh. If they only knew the whole truth.

i will join u. u think u are paying less at wal-mart but the truth is you r paying more out of you pocket for that ad item. heres how-- the employees are under paid, they can't afford healthcare so they go to state assistance which comes out of your pocket as state taxes. wal-mart gives their new employees a packet of forms to fill out which includes "how to apply for state assistance. plus wal-mart loves to put mom and pop out of business.

As a member of a local printing union, I know a lot of guys who refuse to shop at Walmart. I've heard something like every dollar you spend there takes a dollar away from the company you work for. Considering how much money Walmart makes this is unfortunately probably true. That being said, I still shop at Walmart for certain things to save money, because like most people, I'm not rich. But I whole-heartedly agree with any banning Wal-Mart. They are screwng up our economy and little privately-owned companies.

I salute you. I may not join you. Don't get mad. Like many people, I find Walmart close enough to save me a ton of running, easy on the wallet and a comfortable, clean, friendly environment.

On the down side, I think they are helping destroy charming and wonderful aspects the US economy. They are a Mom and Pop killer. They just killed my favorite independent neighborhood grocery!

But money talks. When they have items cheaper than anyone else, they are in effect like this huge magnet the pull of which you can never escape, as a consumer on a limited budget. I support people like you, who manage to swear The Monster off. I just probably won't be joining you, though. Sorry.

When you consider the time you save along with the money I will just keep shopping there, where else can you return items without a hassle. Sam had a dream and it works or they wouldn't have 5000+ stores around the world.
