Is this legal? My bank rearranges things after the fact. On Sunday, for instance, they'll have posted transactions in a certain order with Monday's date. On Monday evening, they'll rearrange the transactions in order from largest $$ to smallest amount. This way, if the account goes below zero, they can potentially charge back the customer many overdraft fees, instead of processing the large transaction last, and only charging one overdraft fee.

I am currently 19 years old, about to turn 20 in November. I am attending college full time so my parents are still allowed to claim me as dependent. Latley we have been having some money issues and I was wondering how much money my parents are getting each year for claiming me as a dependent. They make around 40,000 a year. My parents do not pay for any of my college education. They are expected to pay $1000 each semester but I work an extra job to pay what they are expected to pay and I get nothing in return, I don't even live with my parents in the summer I work in New Mexico all summer at a camp. The most I get from my parents is around 10-20 a month at most for gas or something. I pay for everything else and have 2 jobs...one to help them and 1 to have money for myself...so everyone that commented on this question by telling me to grow up, i have and i have loans....i just start to think i suport my parents more or as much as they suport me.?

My insurance called me yesterday and informed me that they would be cancelling my insurance because I have rented my house to a group of students. They gave me two weeks to find new insurance before they cut me off. I'm having trouble finding someone who will insure us. If they cut my insurance, my bank will cancel my mortgage, and I guess that means I'd lose the house. Is this insurance company allowed to drop me in this manner. When we got the insurance two months ago there was nobody living in the house, but it was rental insurance. We never lied or anything, we were completely honest through the whole process.

I was called back for a THIRD interview. The 1st was a phone interview, then yesterday was a 1/2 hour long face to face. They called me today and asked me back for a 3rd and final time...they have gotten the list of candidates down to 3 (from 81 applicants). What should (if anything) should I bring? I know they called my references today. Should I bring a letter of reference or is that too much? What will be different about this interview than the 1st?

Any answers of personal experience will help. I have butterflies!!!

She owned the house. I lived there over a yr. w/o a formal agreement - we used to be friends. We had a falling out and I found a new place to live, which caused her to flip out (girl is crazy). She kicked me out the day she discovered I was moving (3 wks early)- called the police to have me removed, etc. I moved out and paid rent & util's for the entire time I was there, as well as $300 extra for 'damages' she claimed my cats made. When I went to pick up my stuff the last time, she forced me to sign something saying I would go back and make repairs on the damages (b/c she wanted an add'l $200 that I didn't have). She would not let me leave w/o signing. It was witnessed by her mom and my friend. She was holding my items hostage and refused to let me get them w/o signing. I know - I should have called the cops b/c tenants have rights, but I didn't want to take it that far. In retrospect, I never woud have signed. Does the fact that she was threatening me void the contract?

Okay so everyone is my dept knows that our boss is very inapprioate on several levels. So today she calls me in her office because apparently some other employee thinks that I act full of myself. My boss said she knows I am not that way but since she "can't change the way they hear", I need to change what I say. I think this B.S. and I don't understand why she is even commenting on the subject, it has NOTHING to do with the quality of job I do. This is not the first time she has commented on what I believe are personal issuses. And I am not sure that anyone even said anthing, she has a habit of making things up.
What's your opinion? Should a corporate boss interfere in personal/social matters? If you have a boss like this, how do you cope?

Can you work out a better deal with the original agency vs another agency that has the property listed on their web site? If the standard commission is 6%, due you save anything $$ by working with the prime agency?

Don't you hate it when every job description you find, you always find that you must have experience? Even when you narrow down your job search to only entry-level jobs or internships. It is like telling an embryo that he has to have living experience in order to be born!!!! It is so frustrating!!
