it depends on what time period the $5100 was earned over. if a person earns $5100 per year, that is poor. if a person earns $5100 per day, that is wealthy.
furthermore, the amount must be compared against different geographical regions. $5100 in the US is much less than $5100 in, say, thailand. similarly, $5100 in beverly hills, ca is much different than $5100 in topeka, ks.

This depends on culture, and as other people said, period of time. In the United States, one would be considered poor if this was their annual income, middle-class if it was their monthly income. This would also be the case in most fully industrialized countries. However, in third world countries, someone who had this as a monthly income would be practically a king, and yearly, would still be well off.

USS 5,100.00 monthly? Middle. Wealth is define on the taxes you are paying. If you are paying millions to the government in forms of taxes, you are considered to be millionaire, its not the income that you recieved.

You didn't specify if that income was monthly or yearly ??? If its monthly... I would say upper middle class/wealthy depending on circumstances.... ( debts....financial dependents)... .if it's yearly..... then they are poor!!
