If a student binge drinks at a bar, can't walk and is left stranded on a curb, picked up by the police, taken by ambulance to the ER, seen by an ER physician whose cost is separate and not covered by insurance, what might the student end up owing? If I forgot anything, add it in. This is for a discussion on the reality of binge drinking. Now, if the student graduates and does not pay the hospital bill, what happens to the charges?

I have worked at this company for 8 months and have hated it the whole time. But respectfully so, I need to place my two weeks notice. How's this sound?

This letter is to inform you that as of today's date I am putting in my two weeks notice. I have taken a job that better suits my long term career goals and provides me with an exceptional hourly wage. I appreciate the oppurtunity you have granted me with this company. My last day will be Friday October, 6th. Thank you.

Sincerely,

I think it is important for me to be honest and tell them exactly why I am leaving but also keep it short and sweet. Alright, give me the constructive criticism =)

I was informed today after nearly 5 weeks that the lender has additional questions of the buyer (updated bank statements and such). The transaction was to close a week ago and has gone 7 days without resolution. I received this information this evening (30 minutes prior to the updated close today).

Is the buyer's agent, title company and lender liable when a pre-approval letter was received after the contract was signed? I feel as though these folks have potentially dropped the ball and not kept the seller informed.

Thanks in advance for any advice you have.

Does anyone know the steps I need to take to go into arbitration over a disputed cell phone bill with Team Mobile? And if so, any suggestions on how to navigate the arbitration process? I have what I believe is a very strong case against them based on the facts (will spare the details-suffice to say I am being charged completely unfairly based on their error).

Thanks for your help!

shortly after purchasing disability ins. i was diagnosed with testicular and lymphatic cancer that was very aggressive. while in chemotherapy I contacted the insurance co. to claim. I was totally involved in staying alive long enough to beat this cancer and was obviously seriously unable to keep track of finances and such. My wife did not realize this was one of the few things we had any coverage for and therefor did not deal with it. It has been almost two years and i just recently realized we had not recieved any benifits from this insurance during my year long fight with cancer. what can i do to get them to pay? The insurance was purchased with the mortgage and I thought that even though the claim is made that the insurance is a seperate issue the mortgage company is the legal servicer of all matters on the mortgage, such as ins. taxes if there is an escrow acct. etc.?

I'm known for having the answer when people are searching for the next step to solve a problem in their lives. Or, just to move on in a project or dream they have. People find me to be insightful and helpful and know I have their best interest in mind. How can I get paid to do that?

The website for my company's 401k (provided by Hewitt) says nothing about fees for transferring money from one fund to another. Are there hidden fees, or am I paying for it by paying an annual fee? (Also hidden, they don't tell us that either)
