I am an INFJ and I know most positions I am searching require Outgoing/Team player etc. Not that I'm not but just that I don't know how to tell them im reserved, nice, respectfull. loyal like few today. But I don't know how to state that on my resume. I want to pursue an Office coordinator/insurance of a dental or orthodontic office.

If so where and how would I place it in my resume? Thanks

I don't recommend it. There are several other profile type assesment corporations are using.

Knowing your strengths/weaknesses should definitely help you in the interview. Sharing some of the info might help with your job search, but not every employer values the same attributes.

As you do job searches, examine the job qualifications carefully and match them to the MB results you have on yourself.
Good luck..

Use the Myers Briggs test as a way to help develop who you are and what you want to become. Just because the test results may say one thing, it does not give the whole picture. My friends and I all took a Myers Brigg test our freshman year of college in an Honors program. Upon graduation they compared your freshman results with the person you had grown to become. it was very interesting how off or correct the initial results were. Long story short, use the results as a guide to how you work, then translate those results into your own words and actions to prove you should be hired for the position. Test results never show the complete story.

I've looked a quiet a few resumes in the past week and I can tell you one thing-I often wonder what makes ppl tick. I think adding that would give your future employer an insight to who you are.

I LIKE knowing what kind of personality i'll be dealing with. Then again, I've seen engineer resumes that note they've undergone psychological evaluation---don't go that far :)

Sure! But why do you want to? If an employer is interested in this information, they would give you the test as part of applying for the job. Consider summarizing why you are the one they want in your cover letter. You could use some of the wording from your Myers-Briggs results....

You can put anything you want on a resume, but I don't recommend it. Every personality has an inherent weakness, and they may be sensitive to your particular weakness. besides that, they may have a culture bias against your type. "we're all ENTJs here, what's wrong with you?"

So just leave it be.

If I received a resume with that information, it would evoke more of a negative reaction than a positive one. I would omit that if I were you.

well, of course you can, but i wouldn't. dont let them think anything about your personality until they actually meet you. also there are a lot of people out there who dont know about myers briggs anyway so they might think it was weird. but anyway good question.
