The website for my company's 401k (provided by Hewitt) says nothing about fees for transferring money from one fund to another. Are there hidden fees, or am I paying for it by paying an annual fee? (Also hidden, they don't tell us that either)

I think as long as you are transferring funds from one to the other, you should not owe anything or have to pay any fees or taxes. I would ask a good CPA. They would know for sure as withdrawing from a 410k would fall under the tax laws.

Now that.. no one can answer for YOU.. It depends on the company from which the 401k was issued(not the right word) and the new company.. SOME charge but MOST do not
