Years ago there was an issue with a car I bought, out of spite I stopped making payments. The funding compan y came after me with there collections lawyer. well I have let the 1700.00 judgement sit on my credit for the last 3 years. I now wasnt to get any negative credit off my report so I can look at buying a home. The question is it legal for them to have charged so much intrest on the beginning amount? It is now up to $4,750 and what do you think I should offer as a settlement.
If you have done this your self what is the best way to go about getting this settled, I slipped when I talked to them the 1st time and said I was in the process of buying a house. opps on my part...

This what the local oil jobber did. In his lease he wasn't up front with the business about the tax he has to pay this jobber. The tax was written into the lease and those leasing oil weren't told up front about this. What I want to know does this bussiness have a right to sue them.

I'm in sales and a coworker of mine sold a deal in my territory, which he was not allowed to do. When I brought this to the attention of my manager, he made us split the commission. It would have been fine if it ended right there, but because of him it didn't. My coworker is obviously a spaz and started getting real loud with me and caused a scene and said you don't know who you are f***ing with. He said this really loud in front of like 10 people who are witnesses. He was totally out of control, but I kept my cool and never raised my voice. He was also talking trash about me when I wasn't at work yet that morning, saying really loud "All he does is spend his money at whore houses, now I'm going to f**k him in the a*s!!", trying to deface me. Should I go to HR and issue a formal complaint? What are the repercussions to me if I do this, if any? Does it go on my record that I issued the complaint? I work for a huge company that is a Broker Dealer and have my NASD Series 7.

Its not like I make alot of money babysitting for in-laws. My husband earns a living. I just babysit for cash to buy our food. He earns enough to pay the bills, but not much left after that. Now if I have to pay taxes on the little I make from babysitting----------------well I guess I won't be buying groceries.

For example, if the Seller uses an agent and pays that agent 6% commission, but the Buyer does not use an agent, then the Sellers agent clearly gets the whole %. However, if the Buyer uses an agent, then does the Sellers agent have to split the 6% commission, or would the Buyers agent get an additional commission on top of the Sellers agent?

I have had a credit card for years, and an account with the same bank. The interest rate is high to say the least.
However, during the last year I had to retire due to bad health. I had an overdraft which I worked on like most.A relative paid both my account O/D off plus my Credit Card balance.Great I thought, however over the next few months it was borrowed back by him with the promise of repayment, which I trusted. It never came back, not only did all the money go that had been given but more.I'm in a real fix, only being on benefits. any ideas, don't really want to let bank know of my situation in case they pull the plug,I need this money to survive.Help I want to transfer any outstanding monies to one CC.with one payment each month so I can get straight,is there a way round this without letting the bank know my position.I do have regular monies going in,but like most I'm in a rob Peter to pay Paul situation.I'm not a criminal, just need advice at 6O it's such a worry to me.Help please

I work in a lot of different locations...

1. Am I allowed to claim for all food eaten when I'm at work?

2. If I'm travelling up the country and buy eg a sandwich, can I claim that as well?

3. If I work away from home for a period of time, could I claim for all expenses incurred in that period, eg food, accomodation, going out and buying a beer in the evening....?

Thanks in advance for any help.

I have an interview today and if they are willing to give me the job today I will have have to put in my two weeks on monday the 25th. Here is the deal...i don't know if I can.

The manager and I are really good friends. It's a really small company, only 5 people work here. Me and her are the only ones that stay in the office, the other 2 guys are out in the field doing calls and the other person is part-time.

The manager is going on vacation to cancun on October 14th to October 21st. If I put my two weeks in monday my last day would be the 16th. That is the week she is gone on vacation. I feel so bad doing that.

What should i do?
