My house is on the market right now with a real estate agent (no buyer yet), but I am wondering how much harder it would be to try to save the commission and sell it myself by owner. What are the drawbacks?

Ok, so we have a general Fax Coversheet at our office (we run a children's movie DVD distribution facility) and it is saved on our network Microsoft word program. Anyway, whenever you need a faxcover sheet you just acces it through the network and edit it to apply to whomever you're sending it to. Anyway, yesterday my friend sent a fax to his girlfriend in New Jeresey and inthe fax cover sheet comments section he jokingly wrote: I MISS BANGING YOU IN THE ***.
The next day, he had to send something to our female boss and used a fax cover sheet but forgot to erase that nasty comment. Now she's pissed...and he doesnt know what to do. Any advice?

My wife and I are on a serious credit repair mission to eventually purchase a new home. The home that we live in now we will have to rent it out versus selling. There are homes in my area that have been on the market for appx 2 years and still sitting. If we rent we wont have to wait more than a couple of months max.
Now my question is how much of a down payment will I need for my next purchase. The home we are looking at is appx $250,000. How much will I need to bring to the table as a down payment. Also what are my options for any down payment alternatives. Someone told me I needed 20% down and I almost passed out. Our scores are horrilbe right now but we are waiting until they reach the mid-high 600's Please help..........Thanx in advance.....

I bought a house back in Febuary. I agreed for a lease back for 2 months for the home owner. He needed more time to find a home. In those two months I had to sign my kids up for their new school and I needed 2 utility bills in my name of my new address. The previous home owner who could stay in my house for two more months had to pay for my mortgage and utility bills. He did accept for one ,my water and power bill came in AFTER he had moved out (and I haved moved in ) It's not a very big bill. ($168), but it is my money. Does anybody have an idea on how to get m money back. I have called my brokers and I left him a few messages on his cell, but he simply ingnors me.

The appraisal didn't come high enough on the home we are going to purchase. The sellers are not willing to come down and the bank won't borrow us the full amount. Our realestate agent has offered to lend to us the rest needed at a certain rate for 10 years. Is this legal?

I work at a family fun center and they've really made me mad, they changed my hours for today without even asking. If I call off they won't be short staffed. Actually their over staffed today. I feel perfectly fine and it's a gorgeous fall day outside. Plus if I go I'm only working 2:30 to 6 which hardly seems worth my energy to go in.

I am tired of getting burnt on doing child care. I am a disabled mom(retired from the medical field). I would like to know if there are any legite options for working "cash under the table" jobs. Because I am disabled and recieve disability, I would need cash, but also can't work standing very long and I'm also almost completely deaf. Please be nice, this is a serious question.
