i am in wilmington nc and i can not find a class a cdl job and i have less than 6 months exper and the otr is killing me they keep me out for 4 weeks at a time

I don't know if this will help- can you drive a bus with a class A? I have a class B because I used to be abus driver, maybe you can get like yours to a bus drivers and drive busses. . . .

You wont be able to get a job locally until you've had at least 1 yr experience. SOme companies want you to have 2 yrs. Not only that I don't hardly any woman that work locally for a trucking company, it might be real hard to do. Good Luck!

Have you considered Networking? It is a great way to earn money working from your own home as your own boss. Ever heard of Robert Kiyosaki Rich Dad Poor Dad? He has another book called "The Business School" and he talks a lot about network marketing strategies and getting on the right side of the cash flow quadrant. That's what I did when I started my own business at http://www.mywayoutonline.com/ access code 108306 that is a new division of a billion-dollar international company that is listed on the New York Stock exchange. If you have a big enough dream, you can achieve anything :)

if your in nc check with AAA Cooper or Trans Link those are 2 that i know of off the top of my head if you were in chicago there is 6000 loads a day coming out of here and only about 2500 trucks so that tells you how busy it is here pack your crap and move to chicago
