The cost is too high. It takes forever to get back your initial set up in savings.

solar equipment is way too expensive for what it does. when the govt. started giving tax breaks, etc. the price went up ten fold. they can make cost effective units, but greedy big business and salesmen with big commissions ruined it. in yhe 70s you could buy a4' x 8' collector for $200, now you have to buy an installed packsge for $3000+ then the burocrats got involved.

it all depends on the economic viability,such as what is u r consumption and present electricity price or if it is at all viable to u r geographical location of transmission along with the consumption.economic criteria is the main prime mover

My guess is b/c they are a small business and prob can't afford to get it set up.

Plus, there is NOWHERE else in Boise that does it, so it would be hard for this little place to be the pioneer. Maybe someday though!

Exactly what are you doing to prevent depletion of our natural resources. I think you're breathing too much of our oxygen. It could be used to keep someone alive who is a valuable member of society.
