Yeah, that happened to my sisters boyfreind, he hates his boss and wanted to txt my sister that his boss is an as*hole but accidentally txtd his boss and he got really pissed at him but it blew over.
Tell whomever to tell the boss that the whole thing was not meant to be. Focus on her good qualities rather than what is going in her as* Everything blows over, its just a matter of time. If this person is in a union, she cannot fire you over that. Tell your freind to talk to her, saying it wasn't meant to be sent to her ofcourse theres always the question what was he doing using the fax for his gf anyways. Be honest...DO NOT LIE!. cuz u will get caught in a lie. Its a lil funny, once you explain it they can certainely joke about it. Its an honest mistake.

WOW!!! He screwed up bad!!!
WOW! Im laughing too hard at that one.
Well 1. your friend should have learned why you dont do that sort of thing at work.
I would recomend he confront his boss. Simply ask to talk to her and tell her what had happend. He sent that to his girlfriend.
That he knows he was wrong and should not have been screwing around. But that he doesnt want her to be mad about it and cause drama at the office so he wanted to explain and APOLOGIZE.
At this point she will either rant and rave about it for a few and then let him know he's got one more chance, not to screw up again or he is out. OR
She will rant and rave then fire him for being unappropriate at work.
Either way he will get some type of lashing and he just needs to buck up and take his licks.
But DO as I recomend and go in and admit up to being wrong and opologize, you'll be how far that will get you.
GOOD Luck to him, and tell him thats pretty funny. (Well some day he'll look back and laugh).

Fess up. Go to the Boss.
State: I have done something aggregious that I feel I must have written disciplinary action taken and put in my file.
1) I inappropriately used company time and resources for personal use
2) The nature of the offense, even though accidental, was of an offensive nature not only to you, but also to anyone who may have witness said fax.
3) I know the nature of my offense is grounds for emmediately dismissal, but I assure you that such behavior will never be exibited again.

I deleted my previous long answer wherein I had narrated circumstances of my life journey provided that i found out that readers will sense bored. My short answer on your question is that i'm no longer able to tolerate the insult, yet won't return it with an insult. How can i take exhilaration in something that i actual dislike. i will draw the attention of my boss that i'm injury by making use of his insult with a punching reaction that isn't insulting nor gentle. I actual have confronted such insult from the boss many circumstances, yet I constantly replied so effectively that they have been speechless and on no account repeated it with me. yet permit me upload that an worker has 2 thoughts : ( i ) take care of self-understand by making use of no longer tolerating the insult and address it effectively without bouncing decrease back with the insult and interior the tip go through interior the profession boost or ( ii ) bow head, take each and all the insults and climb up the ladder of profession. that's for the guy to compliment what he values extra - self-understand or profession on the fee of self-understand.

Oh man, that is bad. That could come of as sexual harassment. He needs to apologize AND hire a lawyer just to be on the safe side. I would also recommend him find another job.

Just fess up to it and be honest. He'll have to ride out the storm for a while but it will calm down eventually.
Hopefully she will understand.

That is so bad of your friend to be making those kinds of comments to anyone even if it was meant for his girlfriend. It is demeaning so he is well deserving of what he gets. Maybe fired and his girlfriend should fire him too because obviously he thinks nothing of her.

He needs to apologize and tell her that he realizes the mistake. Beg for forgiveness...and update the resume.
