Is an offwhite suit (paired with burgundy blouse) permissible for wearing to a job fair? The career field is engineering. Generally the men wear black suits and cool colored shirts, and the women wear dark slacks, collared blouses, and no suit jacket. Does the fact that it's after Labor Day affect the issue at all?

...Has little to no real impact. I know that the Federal Budget deficit is more a talking point than a real financial strain, but I don't know exactly how that is. Can someone explain it "in English"....as opposed to "in Accountant?"

I have some moderate stains and discoloration in the kitchen. These kitchen stains and discoloration are caused by paint fading and regular wear and tear. The bathroom has some minor cracks, that I want to fill in and some of the paint is peeling. Please note the bathroom never got a coat of primer paint. I want to use a primer that is quick to dry and where can recoat in about an hour. Also I need to have the primer that is easy to clean up ideally with soap and water. The paint I would be using would be latex. Any brand primer and specific name would be appreciated.

It's been about six months now and still no state taxes have been withheld. They withheld taxes for the wrong state from my first two checks and now nothing since. Their excuse is that ADP (the company that handles our direct deposit transfers) isn't getting the tax ID number. I've paid estimated tax myself for two quarters this year now, but I don't want to have to keep doing that, especially since the payroll person is supposed to be handling it.

I am very interested in making money in real estate. I would like to learn what, if any, difference there is between real esate investing, and owning rental property. Also, how do I get started and make a profit rather than messing up the process and losing my money? I'd really like to hear from experienced people who have made money doing these things and find out how they did it, how they learned the business, etc.

If I was to land contract my house to someone.. when I set the interest rate with them; do I have to claim that on my taxes?

Or could I offer a rent to own, with so much going towards the princable, without the hassel of interest?

How exactly does "rent to own" work?
