Your internal target market would be your employees. You want your employees to be knowledgeable about your products and services therefore they are your first customers. You must "sell" them your products based on the features, attributes and benefits that these products have and they in turn will be motivated to sell to your external customers. Remember that everyone that comes in contact with the customer is a "salesman". Everyone involved in the company's processes is an internal customer that must be aware of and adhere to the processes and procedures necessary to complete an order. The receptionist sells the company and its image. With great internal customers on board, your company will be well on its way to influence the external customers to purchase.

yes are you asking the primary question Who am i selling to? What am i selling? What is the quality quantity ratio? also do a pooled survey 5 people form each department and divide that in half is a good guestimate if u find urself falling short get back on track with company feed back and ticker meetings. See mondern marketing 11th edition for more details.
