yes we used to get paid with cash....it change about 8 years ago....Inventory ROCKSSSSSS, I love it, but hate when it comes back bad, Im a receiving manager at Kmart, going on 11 years now

I worked at Kmart when I was a kid at 16 which was a billion years ago. I had a blast! Especially when we did inventory in the evening into the wee hours of the morning. We had pizza delivered, we had music blasting over the P.A. system. It was great!
The only thing I didn't like was how we got paid. They paid us once a week in the very back offices..........in CASH!!! I think their theory behind that was we would spend the money before we left the store. They did pay us for washing our smocks weekly, which I though was very nice.
Other than how we were paid (now sure how they do it now), I had a blast working there!

I used to work at the Kmart Distribution Center and it SUCKED!! I couldnt stand it. It got to the point I would sit in the parking lot and cry because I REALLY didnt wanna go to work. I worked there for almost 3 months before I quit.

Well. I'll just have to say that retail jobs have a very high turn-over rate.
