If you have only been there less then a few months I dont think you need to really mention it. You can always say that you were misled in the interview for the old job and when you saw what it was really like you quit.

You can choose not to include this job on th application. Or if you left on bad terms... but for a reason that can be explained during the interview process

Depends on how long you were on that job. If it was less than two months, don't put it in. Become Fuzzy Wuzzy. Remember, your goal is to get a job that you like, not losing opportunities.
Why give them that kind of opportunity, when you can talk around?
For example, if they ask what have you doing, just simply tell that you are still looking for a job. Now if it is for any government job, you have to write that job in, if it was more than two-weeks of work.

Make sure you include your employer on your application in case they are trying to verify empoloyment but make sure you check the box on there that they cannot contact your current/last employer and do not use them as a reference.
