I have a poor credit, and am working very hard to fix it. I got a new job and it pays very well, and I need a bank account to keep my finance in order, but no bank want accepts me and can't open a bank account. Does anybody know of a Bank that I can use without a credit check, and that its free? Thanks a lot, any answers could help.

Try a credit union. They are more lenient.

I also didn't realize that you couldn't get an account with poor credit.
Credit union is a good option, but if you need access to your cash it may not be as convenient.
I absolutely refuse to pay for a place to hold my money. Washington Mutual, Compass and Amegy work well here in TExas. Look for a smaller, local bank if you can and give them a shot.

I went through the same thing with banks, they suck so bad now, you aren't even allowed to breathe anymore unless you have good credit. Soon they'll be checking your credit at the grocery store when you're trying to pay cash, and send you out the door empty handed if your credit is poor. I joined a credit union. (Ironic,isn't it) They don't give a cr.ap about your credit unless you're trying to get a loan. Credit Unions treat you better than banks too, and they're free. Good luck!

I didn't realize that you couldn't get a bank account if you had bad credit. Will they just not give you a credit card or they won't give you an actual bank account?

Have you tried Washington Mutual or US BANK... do they have branches?
Did you write a lot of bad/bouncy checks before? I had a CH7 BK and was able to open 3 different bank accounts, 2 checking and 1 Savings with no problem.

wwww.bankofamerica.com I have very bad credit with a couple of negative bank accounts and they gave me an account. Also check for prepaid debit visa or mastercards.

You can open an account. Go to another bank. They don't have to know anything about previous credit.

if had account and the bank colsed it is going to show on the chexsystem itss system bank use u need to pay the bank you owe money to , or search for non-checksystem bank online but they charg alot
