just moved into ground floor apartment that we pay top dollar for (in our neck of the woods). My husband and i enjoy a smoke on the patio after dinner and i enjoy sitting out there with a book and a smoke now and again. Problem: 3rd floor neighbor is allergic to cigg smoke... has complained incessantly... accommodated him by now smoking 8 yards from our patio - but still, he complains about the smoke... i see that there will be no adequate solution but for either of us to move out... I can'r even enjoy my patio for the amount of money we pay for this place! I am soooo unhappy. Any advice anyone?

For my computer business I have been advertising using signs on the side of the road, does anyone have any other recommendations for getting computer repair business using other methods of advertising? I don't have too much money but any ideas would be appreciated. I am currently A+ certified and work for geek squad on weekends.

Some good wording for the advertising would be helpful too. Right now i just put "COMPUTER REPAIR" and my number. Thanks!!

Wouldn't it be in the best interest of a business or company to be open on certain holidays?(especially when others are closed?). Is there some sort of benefit to being closed besides intrisic things like happy employees? Unions may demand these days of but what about smaller businesses without union employees? Is there some sort of national legislation that says you cannot be open on certain days?

There is reason to believe that my mother-in-laws 401 is being mismanaged, if there at all.
The company is verging on bankruptcy and she wants to reinvest in CDs or another 401 plan since her lifes sanings is invested in the company.
They will not allow her to withdraw any funds unless she resigns or is terminated.
She is too intimidated to continue asking like she has been for a few months.
Please help as soon as possible.

My husband and I just got married in June and were wondering how we should file our taxes to get the most money back. I have a daughter (who is not his child), I always have been considered head of household and claimed her as a dependent. Can he claim her also even though he is not her biological father? Would it be better for us to file married but seperatley? I'm just not sure what to do and we want to be prepared for this years taxes.
